I purchased two B300’s to pair with my AC200 Max. So far, I have only done one trial and aside from a bit of off gassing (particularly roughly 1/2 through the discharge) everything went well.
The only issues are that one of the connectors is very hard to get to click in all the way (I got it, but it took a lot of effort). The others are smooth and easy, so this is a bit of a concern for longevity, but on the other hand perhaps it will wear in and not pose a problem (though I don’t think my wife coud do it).
The other issue is a design flaw. The ports on the B300 units are on the right hand side where they are on the left hand side of the AC200 Max. As the cables are not long enough to reach around, this means that the units need to be facing different directions; very odd to say the least.
Lastly, the app cannot trusted to give an accurate reading of the power that is left and makes it impossible to identify which unit is which.
These are relatively minor issues and would not stop me from recommending this setup. I look forward to using it in more real word situations at our cabin in the future.
This is a very nicely built 3kWh LiFePO4 battery. Good form factor and flexible input / output options. Paired it well with my AC300 along with another B300 (2x B300 in total), no sweat discharging at 3kW though through AC300. My only complain (and is not a show stopper) is that you must plug those cables in really well, when I first set this up, I didn't plug them tight enough and got a BMS communication error. Tried it a few times and pushed really hard and it is now fine. They are really heavy, so it is more "transportable" and not "portable", but that is a physical limitation due to the LiFePO4 chemistry and is a fine tradeoff for the increase longevity and safety.
We have only had the B300 and AC200MAX for a few weeks but they arrived just before a hurricane, so we put them to use right away. They ran our fridge and freezer for two full days. Next we’ll get panels so we can recharge them during longer outages.
i like it the only down side that am still trying to understand is on my ac300 i get the error code 00 006 and 01 006 in the manual it says sps voltage low-hardware so i down understand it and how to avoid to reproduce the same error
Q1: Which BLUETTI power stations can work with B300?
Q2: Can I use BLUETTI B300 expansion battery alone?A:
Yes. It comes with a 100W USB-C, a USB-A, and a 12V car socket, providing power for phones, laptops, car refrigerators, etc.
Q3: How many B300 can I connect to AC300 or AC200MAX?A:
AC300: Up to 4 B300 for 12,288Wh capacity.
AC200MAX: Up to 2 B300 for 8,192Wh capacity.
Q4: Does B300 support App control?A:
Connect it to the AC300, pair them with BLUETTI App, and you can control the system at any time from anywhere.
Q5: Can I use B300 alone as a UPS?A:
Q6: What is the maximum input charging power of the BLUETTI B300?A:
700W Max. with optional D050S DC Charging Enhancer*
* Sold separately
Q7: Can I use car cigaretter lighter or lead-acid battery to charge B300?A:
Yes, BLUETTI D050S DC Charging Enhancer* is required.
* Sold separately
Q8: Can I use third-party solar panels to charge the BLUETTI B300?A:Yes, if the solar panels' specs fall in
1) Total Voltage: 12-60V
2) Total Power: 200W Max.
3) Include MC4 connectors.
Q9: Can it charge and discharge at the same time?A:
Q10: Can I use or charge B300 in sub-zero temperatures?Temperature ranges for B300 are:
Charge: 0-40℃ (32-104℉);
Discharge: -20-40℃ (-4-104℉);
Storage: -20-40℃ (-4-104℉).
Technically, it can power electrical devices under such situations, but please avoid charging it.
Q11: How long can it run my device?Running time = Battery capacity × DoD × η ÷ Device rated power DoD refers to Depth of Discharge and η is local inverter efficiency.
For B300, both DoD and η are 90%. If you run a 100W light bulb with it, the running time will be:
3,072Wh × 90% × 90% ÷ 100W ≈ 25hrs
Note: The above data is for reference ONLY.
Q12: Is B300 waterproof?No. Also, please do NOT store it in a humid environment for a long time.
Q13: Is it possible to replace the built-in battery?No. If the battery pack is faulty or even dead, please contact BLUETTI Customer Service.
